Mix and grind equal quantity of cumin seeds, coriander seeds and sugar candy. Take 2 tsp. of it with cool water twice daily after meals provides relief from acidity.

½ tsp of Ground black pepper, mixed with rock salt to taste with water after will relieve acid reflux.

A tsp. of caraway seeds powder and lemon juice drunk in a glass of water helps in reducing heartburn.

Light food like rice, moong daal and vegetables like bottle gourd, ridged gourd are good. The use of green coriander leaves with meals is beneficial.

Try not to drink any alcoholic beverages or smoke before going to bed since studies have shown that these things can trigger your symptoms to occur.
